Upload a PDF that will not open and it is repaired in escalating stages: revision rollback, structural repair, cross-reference rebuild, content-stream salvage, and font recovery. A result is accepted only if it passes your page-count and text checks. The file is then sanitized of hidden data under the profile you choose, and a report shows what was fixed and removed.
How PDF Repair and Sanitization Works
1. Upload Your PDF

2. The File Is Triaged and Repaired
The file is scanned for damage, then run through repair stages in order of increasing intervention — revision rollback, structural repair, cross-reference rebuild, content-stream salvage, and font recovery. Each candidate is checked against your page-count and text-coverage requirements before it's accepted.
3. Hidden Data Is Found and Removed
The repaired file is scanned for prior revisions, orphaned objects, metadata, embedded attachments, active content, and text hidden in plain sight — invisible, covered, or color-matched to the background. The sanitization profile you pick decides what must be removed; the removal is then verified by re-scanning the output.
4. Download the Repaired PDF and Its Report
You get the repaired and sanitized PDF, any images or attachments recovered from the original file, and a report describing what was wrong, what was fixed, what was removed, and what could not be proven gone.
