    FAQ

    What files can I use?

PDF files only. DOCX and other formats are not supported at this time.

Does this edit the content of my PDF?

No. The tool adds a navigation outline (visible in most PDF readers) but doesn’t change the text, images, or layout.

What’s the difference between a TOC page and bookmarks?

This tool adds bookmarks (the panel on the side in a PDF reader), not a visible page with linked headings.

How does it decide which lines are headings?

It uses font size, spacing, and visual structure — typically larger or bold text near the top of a page.

Can I change the TOC after generation?

Not inside this tool. But you can use a PDF editor like Adobe Acrobat to adjust the TOC if needed.

Can I get the illustrated document in a format other than PDF?

Currently, the output format is only available in PDF format to ensure consistent placement of text and images across devices. But you can convert the PDF file to another available format on our partner site.
